Channeling Christ's Love

By Dr. Robert Schuller

"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." --John 15:5

Faith allows you to open up and be yourself! It is connecting yourself, with spiritual integrity, in a relationship with Jesus Christ. When that happens, you can work wonders in helping other people. Happiness, self-esteem, and self-worth will be natural byproducts!
What is a Christian anyway? A Christian is a mind through which Christ thinks, a heart through which Christ loves, an eye through which Christ looks, a face through which Christ smiles and encourages people, a hand through which Christ touches, and a voice through which Christ offers hope. Can I be a Christian?
You can do it if you are willing to be a conduit.
Recently a friend shared with me, "Your possibility thinking really helps me. I was having real problems with my son. One day I was out in my garden. When I looked at the water pipe, I thought to myself, Christ wants me to be a conduit. He wants to flow through me. I simply have to let Him do it.
"Then," she said, "the phrase hit me: 'I can do it if I will be a con-du-it.'"
That's what a branch is to a tree--a conduit for the sap to flow upward to bear fruit.
That's what an electrical wire is--a conduit for energy to flow from the source to the place of need. That's what you and I are in this life--conduits for Christ carrying love. Through us, Christ can turn on lights in dark minds!

I was pondering what to write this time ...... afterall, one can't run out of praises for the Lord.
Then, I read this powerful article. Yes, it's good to know that Christ carries with Him the love we all need. Christ is love itself in full example. We will be His channels ...... let Love flow from us!

Most Richly Blessed

Psalm 27:1

The Lord is my light and my salvation -
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life -
of whom shall I be afraid?

Most Richly Blessed by Roy Campanella

I asked God for strength, that I might achieve.
I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey.

I asked for health, that I might do great things.
I was given infirmity, that I might do better things.

I asked for riches, that I might be happy.
I was given poverty, that I might be wise.

I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men.
I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God.

I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life.
I was given life, that I might enjoy all things.

I got nothing I asked for, but everything I hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.
I am, among men, most richly blessed!

Let's be brave

Let's Be Brave

Let's be brave when the laughter dies
And the tears come into our troubled eyes,
Let's cling to the faith and the old belief
When the skies grow gray with the clouds of grief,
Let's bear the sorrow and hurt and pain
And wait till the laughter comes again.

Let's be brave when the trials come
And our hearts are sad and our lips are dumb,
Let's strengthen ourselves in the times of test
By whispering softly that God knows best;
Let us still believe, though we cannot know,
We shall learn sometime it is better so.

Let's be brave when the joy departs,
Till peace shall come to our troubled hearts,
For the tears must fall and the rain come down
And each brow be pressed to the thorny crown;
Yet after the dark shall the sun arise,
So let's be brave when the laughter dies.

Which way?

Proverbs 22:6
Train a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not turn from it.

William Penn..."I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing Ican do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again."

Joy in my heart

Psalm 28 : 6-7

Praise be to the Lord,
for He has heard my cry for mercy.
The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song.
